Former Goa education minister and MLA Atanasio Monserrate, who has been accused of raping a minor girl, surrendered before the state crime branch on Thursday. Earlier, the Goa police conducted searches various places, including the residence of the neta.
Rs100cr fine for wrong map?
Wrong depiction of the map of India could land violators in jail with a maximum term of seven years and fine up to Rs 100 crore. The measure has been envisaged after certain websites showed J&K and Arunachal as part of Pakistan and China respectively.
