Canadian mobile retailer Baka Mobile has come out with a lot of details on BlackBerry’s upcoming Android Smartphone named BlackBerry Venice. The expected price of the smartphone will be Rs 60,000 plus and a Huge display of 5.8 inches. The first Smartphone that combine the power of Android and the power and convenience of the BlackBerry keypad.
The slider smartphone is said to feature a 5.4-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) display, a 1.8GHz hexa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 808 SoC with 3GB of RAM, and an 18-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Though technologies such as swipe inputs and predictive text have made typing on glass slightly more possible, for those who type out more than a hundred emails a day, it has always been worth going for the BlackBerry Passport which has its own physical qwerty keypad. At present, there are no Android phones with physical qwerty keypads with a 1GB of RAM.
A Smartphone in the video showing the BlackBerry Venice also surfaced on the Internet validating the design seen in previous leaks. The leaked video showed that the Qwerty keyboard on the Smartphone would feature capacitive touch input, allowing to scroll through a page just by touching the keyboard.
The BlackBerry Smartphone includes BlackBerry Calendar, BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Contacts, Documents to Go, Input, and Universal Search. BlackBerry’s Communication Suite includes BBM Meetings, BBM Protected, BBM, Worklife for BlackBerry, SecuSuite for BlackBerry and Global Support.
Blackberry Security Suite includes BlackBerry Enterprise Service 12, Secure Work Spaces, VPN Authentication, Enterprise Identity by BlackBerry, Password Keeper and BlackBerry Blend.
