“Lengthy , tough, tricky , disastrous…“, is how students of class XII summed up their maths exam on Monday . The students were really disappointed with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for setting such tough paper.
This is the second year in succession that the students of the CBSE found their mathematics paper tough. Many panicked and started crying as it is one subject where they work hard to score cent per cent marks and a slight change means a big twist in their career goals.
For most of the students, the paper was not just lengthy , but tricky too. Only handful spoke of scoring good marks in the city and most of them complained of leaving questions and no time to revise.Even, the CBSE website was flooded with complaints over maths paper.
Rutvik Shah, a student, said, “I made silly mistakes as I did not get time to revise.
Overall, the question paper was tricky and lengthy. I will have to work hard now in the remaining pa pers.“ Another student, Na mita Bhatnagar added, “I got a bit nervous, when I saw most of the students in my examination hall crying. It was lengthy paper and was easy for those who practised from various reference bo oks. This loss of 9-10 marks makes a huge difference. .“
