Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal after facing the heat from various parties and especially opposition party over the rapid spread of dengue across Kejriwal on Friday sought help of both BJP and Congress in chalking out a strategy to tackle the outbreak rising above politics for the well-being of people of Delhi.
Through letters, Delhi CM appeal to the Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly, Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken, and Vijender Gupta of BJP came even as the parties have increased heat and put pressure on the AAP government for its alleged inability for handling of the dengue outbreak in the state that claimed more than 17 lives s far with more than 2000 tested positive for the disease in one of the worst nightmare for Kejriwal government.
“Dengue has spread across Delhi. At this point, it’s incumbent upon us to rise above politics and serve the people of Delhi. Through this letter I want to invite you and your party members to assist us in our anti-dengue efforts,” Kejriwal said.
Adding a personal touch, the Chief Minister further wrote, “Whenever you have time, come to my office so that we can sit together and chalk out a strategy to fight against dengue.”Chief Minister also invited suggestions from his rivals promising Delhi Government’s full support to any of their endeavours in this condition.
