Constable Found Dead In A Car: A Delhi police constable was found dead in a car on Saturday in mysterious circumstances in outer Delhi.
An off duty police constable was found dead in his friend’s car in Outer Delhi’s Bawana area on Saturday.
According to the sources a Delhi cop Sandeep Bhardwaj of 35 years was stabbed to death and his body was found in a friend’s car.
Sandeep was posted with the security department of the Supreme Court but was not attending to his duty for last few days.
The incident came to light when a local spotted the body when he went to a morning walk at a park and immediately made a call to police control room.
the police arrived at the spot and recovered the body from the spot and sent it to post mortem. According to the report given by police officials, the body of Sandeep was on the driver’s seat of a Maruti SX4 that was parked near the park.
The police officials launched investigation and are trying to find clues. It was discovered that the car is registered in one of Sandeep’s friend who belonged to outer Delhi Kirari area and the police quizzed him in connection with the murder.
The police officials went to the residence of Sandeep to question his mother but she was not at home and went to Nashik to meet some of her relatives.
It was learnt that Sandeep’s father also worked with Delhi Police and was posted as a sub-inspector. Sandeep lived with his mother in Outer Delhi’s Kanjhawala and his wife left him a few years ago.
Meanwhile a case of murder and destruction of evidence has been registered by police under Section 302 of IPC and have started the investigation.
