SEBI board gives ‘in-principle’ approval for BSE listing
Capital markets regulator SEBI on 12 Mar 2016 gave its “in-principle” approval for Bombay Stock Exchange to get itself listed in bourses.
SEBI Chairman U.K. Sinha also announced new proposals imposing restrictions on access to capital markets for those declared as ‘wilful defaulters’.
SEBI has now said that companies would be barred from making a public issue of equity shares/debt securities/non-convertible redeemable preference shares if the issuer company or its promoter or its director is in the list of the wilful defaulters.
