Congress chief Sonia Gandhi was discharged from Delhi’s Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Friday after successfully undergoing a minor procedure. Hospital sources, who did not want to be quoted, said the procedure was conducted on her dislocated left shoulder.
“Mrs Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for a planned minor treatment procedure on August 17, which she underwent successfully. Mrs Gandhi has shown good recovery and has been discharged. She has been advised rest, rehabilitation and further treatment,“ vice chairman of the hospital, Dr S P Byotra said. Sonia, 69, had suffered fracture and dislocation of a bone of the left shoulder during a rally in Varanasi on August 3.
