Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday went on an inauguration spree in tribal-dominated Kandhamal district with an eye on the ensuing rural polls. He inaugurated 20 different projects worth around Rs 64 crore and laid foundation stone of three Plus II college buildings and several other projects. He addressed three public meetings at Phulbani, Daringibadi and Baliguda.
The major projects, which were inaugurated, include four hostels for the tribal students, a skill development centre at government polytechnic and ITI, Phulbani, two mini-stadiums, a fire station at Daringibadi and a bridge at Behebadi in K Nuagaon block.
