Chief minister Naveen Patnaik is set to meet the ambassadors of 20 countries in New Delhi on Thursday to attract more investment to the state. Union external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj is also likely to join the meeting scheduled at the Jawaharlal Bhawan, ministry of external affairs.
“We are expecting huge investments and creation of more employment opportunities. We shall put forth a road map of probable investment areas of Odisha. I am sure the ambassadors will be responsive,” said Naveen, who arrived in the national capital on Wednesday. He added that he would also attend a meeting on the three-day ‘Make in Odisha’ conclave starting from November 30. Altogether 20 ambassadors, mostly from east Asian countries, have accepted the invitation of the state government to attend the meeting, teh CM said.
