The BJP has decided to hold three public meetings in AP to explain to people the benefits of the special financial package announced by the NDA government at the Centre. The meetings will be held in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati.
The decision follows the meeting of a delegation of BJP leaders from Andhra Pradesh with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah in New Delhi on Saturday . The AP BJP leaders thanked Modi and Amit Shah for giving the `best’ financial package to the truncated state. During the interaction, Modi is said to have told the delegation that Gujarat was highly backward when it was carved out of the then Bombay state. It had progressed in the last five decades. AP also has been developing fast and has bright future.
