Underwater meditation hall for Visakhapatnam
The Vizag unit of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness has proposed to build India’s first underwater meditation hall and a 45-minute underground tram ride as part of the proposed ‘Glory of Andhra’ temple at Rushikonda.
The meditation hall will be built on the model of Singapore’s Underwater World. A glasshouse will have diagrams illustrating stories from the life of Lord Krishna. The 45-minute underground tram ride is planned to enhance spiritual experience by making the devotees virtually feel the various punishments and rewards of heaven and hell.
