A delegation of parliament members from Telangana will soon meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and seek allocation of more number of IAS and IPS officers to the state, the TRS MP from Karimnagar, B Vinod Kumar said on Tuesday .
With the state now having 31 districts after the recent reorganization, there is a huge requirement of IAS and IPS officers for better governance, he said.
After bifurcating Chattisgarh from Madhya Pradesh, the Union government allocated many IAS and IPS officers as required by the state, he shared. A similar formula should be approved for Telangana.
