The state government will soon hold a collectors’ conference to discuss existing conditions in the 31 districts of the state and the way forward with regard to preparation of longterm action plans for each district.
This was announced by the chief minister’s office after a meeting of senior officials headed by K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Chandrasekhar Rao, during the meet, said that it was time for senior officials, especially those who worked as district collectors’ previously, to mentor young officers who have been posted as collectors after the reorganisation. “Seniors must provide advice, guidance and suggestions to the new collectors.They are young and enthusiastic. Circumstances must be created to allow them to work well and effectively ,“ KCR told top bureaucrats of his government at the meet.
