The officials of the Intelligence Bureau in Delhi from the past few weeks, have been trying to convince the young Hindu woman, who recently graduated from a leading college under Delhi University, that joining the Islamic State is not a good idea.
The Past Delhi University student in her mid-twenties, Hindu by religion, went to Australia for three years for higher studies after graduation. Her father alerted the security agencies.
Two months ago, her father got some suspicious activities from the internet communications linked to the Islamic State. She was reportedly in touch with (ISIS)Islamic State militants Group on her computer. more investigations by the Ex-army Officer revealed that she was planned to travel to Syria via Australia to join the ISIS group.
National Investigation Agency(NIA) have confirmed that the girl leaked her plan to convert as a Muslim and travel to Australia, and later she was going to travel to Syria and join the group in the caliphate of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
