Amarjit Singh Dulat, a former chief of RAW which is Indian secret agency has accepted that Kashmir is the core issue between India and Pakistan.
Amarjit Singh Dulat, India’s former chief, while talking to an Indian TV channel has said that PM Modi will have to talk over Kashmir sooner or later.
He said that the Indian government’s plans has been different from the Kashmir issues and accepted that Indians have committed a lot of mistakes in handling this Kashmir issue.
He also said that the talks between the India and Pakistan have no importance without handling this core issue.
Amarjit Singh Dulat was of the opinion that Pakistan Parvez Musharraf’s, former president of four points on Kashmir issue, may be the only solution to the issue as more than 90% Kashmiris were happy over the Musharraf formula.
Parvez Musharraf’s in his four points idea proposed: An agreement should be there that Kashmir is the key problem between Pakistan and India, Identifying those plans that are unacceptable to the other side, taking in consideration the other proposals and a solution acceptable to India, Pakistan and the people of Kashmir should be agreed.
Relations between both countries has hit rock bottom as the NSA-Level talks between both countries cancelled due to some differences and continuous ceasefire violations from Pakistani side has made the condition much worse.
