Govt to offer mega benefits for Guj films
The state government is planning to give the Gujarati film industry a generous Diwali gift. It is working on a new policy under which each Gujarati film will get financial assistance up to Rs 50 lakh.
Not only this, it will be made compulsory for multiplexes to screen at least one Gujarati film every day in prime time between 3 pm and 10 pm. For this, multiplexes will be given an incentive of Rs 2 per ticket.
