Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has declared the results of Class X examinations conducted in March 2016. The results of 10th class students who appeared for the board exams have been uploaded on Hbse.nic.in and bseh.org.in.
A total of 3,17,507 students appeared for the exams. Only 48.88 per cent among them have passed. Girls have once again outshined boys. The passing percentage of female candidates is 52.62 per cent, whereas, among the male students, only 45.71 per cent succeeded in clearing the exams.
To check his/her marks, the candidate needs to visit the above websites, and click on the ‘results’ tab. In the next window, one needs to click on the ’10th results’. In the dialogue box which props up, the candidate needs to enter his name and hall ticket number, and click on ‘submit’. The results, along with the marks would appear. The PDF copy of the same could be saved on the personal devices for the interim use.
The results of marks scored in 10th examinations is critical for securing admissions in respectable institutes for availing +2 education. With the results being announced today, the admission process will begin in the next couple of days.
Interestingly, the rural candidates have scored better than their urban counterparts. 50.21 per cent of the students who appeared from villages have passed the examination, whereas, only 47 per cent of the city students succeeded in clearing the exams.
