The HTC Desire 626 features a 5-inch TFT multi touch display with 16M colours and a resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels (HD) leading to a pixel density of 294ppi. It ships with Android v4.4.4 KitKat OS.
At the heart of the HTC Desire 626, there is a 1.7GHz Cortex A-53 octa-core processor sitting on MediaTek MT6752 chipset. The connectivity and networking features loaded in the device come in the form of 4G (selected countries), 3G, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n dual band 5GHz, GPS/A-GPS, Mobile hotspot and USB port.
The HTC Desire 626 is an impressive mid-range Android KitKat smartphone with the main attraction being the octa-core processor from MediaTek. The presence of 2GB RAM and Mali GPU guarantees powerful performance at everything. It packs impressive cameras at both ends and supports 4G networks as well. A higher screen resolution would have made it more lucrative.
