Taiwanese Smartphone maker, HTC is going to launch a new smartphone under its Desire series, the Desire 728G Dual SIM. Recently the company also launched its mid-range One E9s dual SIM smartphone priced at Rs. 23,500. The new Desire 728G Dual SIM smartphone will be soon launched in the next few days in India at Rs. 17,990. In early September, the HTC Desire 728 was launched in China. Comparing to the recently launched HTC One E9s smartphone, The new Desire 728G Dual sim sports almost similar Features.
This handset was already launched in Taiwan as HTC Desire 728 but with 2GB of RAM. This Smartphone is said to be coming with dual GSM SIMs or an option with GSM + CDMA.
In terms of Specifications of the new HTC Desire 728G Dual SIM, It features a 5.5-inch HD 720×1280 pixels resolution display. It runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop operating system with HTC Sense. The device is powered by the 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM.
The Smartphone comes with 16GB of internal storage and can be further expandable up to 2TB via MicroSD card. The handset Sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel secondary front-facing camera as well. The device supports dual SIM but it doesn’t support 4G LTE connectivity. Coming to the connectivity options of the Handset, It features 3G, Wi-Fi, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE and Micro-USB options.
The Smartphone also features HTC BoomSound technology, which is completed by Dolby Audio as well, much like other recently launched HTC smartphones. The HTC Desire 728G Dual sim is backed by a 2800mAh battery that can offer up to 485 hours of standby time in 3G and up to 21 hours of talk time. It measures 157.9×77.84×7.87mm and weighs around 153 grams.
