Huawei Honor 7: The Huawei Honor 7 smartphone which was earlier launched in China is now geared up to be launched in India on Wednesday, tomorrow.
The device will be unveiled at the event to be held in New Delhi. The company is also sending invites for the same.
Speaking about the Honor 7’s China prices, the 16G variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 20,500), the 16GB dual-SIM variant bears the price tag of CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs. 22,600) and the 64GB variant has been priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,600).
Coming to the specifications of the Honor 7 smartphone, it features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixel) display with a pixel density of 423ppi. The device is powered by the company’s own 64-bit octa-core Kirin 935 processor (four Cortex-A53 cores at 2.2GHz + four Cortex-A53 at 1.5GHz) paired with 3GB of RAM and ARM’s Mali-T628 GPU.
The Honor 7 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It runs EMUI 3.1 skinned on top of Android. There is also a microSD card slot which allows to expand the storage up to 128GB.
It boasts of a 20-megapixel rear camera. It comes with phase detection autofocus and is touted by the company to deliver autofocus speeds of 0.1 seconds. The rear camera comes bundled with other features such as Sony IMX230 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 6-lens module, along with sapphire glass protection on top.
The device also comes equipped with an 8-megapixel front-facing wide-angle fixed focus snapper. The device comes with a fingerprint sensor fitted below the rear camera. The 157 grams weighing smartphone measures 143.2×71.9×8.5mm.
The connectivity options bundled with the device are NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and 4G LTE. The smartphone is backed by a 3100mAh battery. It comes with a quick charging feature which can charge the device from zero to full in just 1 hour 25 minutes.
