Hyundai is all set to launch the next generation Elantra in India in September. Media reports suggest that the road test for the car has already begun and the Korean auto giant will roll out the first units from the first week of September.
The all-new Elantra is expected to be offered with two engine options – the 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol version which will churn out 146hp, and the 1.6-liter CRDI diesel belting out 134hp.
As with every Hyundai car, the 2016 Elantra is expected to be loaded with features and may include an eight-inch infotainment system, re-designed ceter console, navigation system, etc.
The car will take on the likes of VW Jetta, Toyota Corolla and Skoda Octavia.
