Duminy, Morkel likely to play 2nd Test; Steyn uncertain
For the South African team that just lost the opening Test against India in Mohali on Saturday (November 7), there is some positive news as they get ready to travel to Bangalore for the second Test. JP Duminy is likely to be available for selection while Morne Morkel has completely recovered from his injury and is likely to be back in the South African side.
Duminy was ruled out of the the opening Test and had also missed the last two ODIs against India after he cut his hand while fielding and required stitches for the same. Morkel too missed the fourth and the fifth ODIs, as well as the first Test, due to a leg injury. Dr. Mohammed Moosajee, the Proteas team manager, provided an update on the injuries of both the players on Saturday.
