The India and Pakistan Brigade commanders level are scheduled to hold a flag meet tomorrow over LoC shelling
A flag meet is scheduled to be held between India and Pakistan Brigade commanders in order to address the issue of ceasefire violations at the line of control. The flag meet attained significance in the wake of Pakistan’s continuous ceasefire violations in the recent times.
The meeting is going to be held at Chakan De Bagh. The meeting is scheduled in order to discuss and fix the modalities to reduce the tensions across the border in Jammu and Kashmir.
Recently after calling off the NSA level talks due to Geelani’s objectionable meeting with Hurriyat leaders, A meeting was held between the Border security forces led by DK Pathak and Pakistan forces in New Delhi in which a major discussion was held on the talks to reduce the cease fire violations.
Since one month there were continuous ceasefire violations across the Line of Control between BSF and the Pakistani militants in which many civilians as well as the security forces died.
Earlier a Pakistani militant group attacked on a BSF convoy in which one guard was killed and a Pakistani militant was killed in exchange of fire. On this occasion the BSF forces with the help of army caught a Pakistan militant named Mohammed Naved Aka Usman alive and taken him into the custody for interrogation. The National Investigation Agency has taken over the interrogation of Naved.
Later another Pakistan militant was also detained by the forces and taken him into the custody.
however there was a great need of discussing the border issues between the two countries to settle down the tensions across Line of Control.
