Lava has launched new 4G smartphone ‘Pixel V2’ priced at Rs 10,750. This is their second product in the Pixel series. the smartphone that comes with superior photography features.
The Lava Pixel V2 is a 5-inch HD IPS display smartphone and weighs just 128 gm, making it the lightest in the segment. The Smartphone will run Android 5.1 along with a layer of the company’s Star OS 2.0.
In terms of specifications, the Pixel V2 sports a smaller 5inch HD display compared to 5.5-inch display found on the V1. It is powered by a 64 bit MediaTek Quad Core Processor coupled with 2GB DDR3 RAM. The device has a 16 GB internal storage that is expandable up to 32 GB.
This Smartphone is 4G enabled and will be available in Icy White and Royal Black colours across retail outlets and multi-brand outlets across India. From Sep 15, 2015, it will be available online.
The phone features a 13 MegaPixal rear camera with dual LED flash with 5 elements Larger lens and f/2.0 aperture and For selfie lovers, it offers an 8MP front camera with f/2.4 4-element lens with LED flash. Lava has roped in fashion photographer Subi Samuel for this product.
It is powered by Star OS 2.0 based on Android Lollipop 5.1 supporting dual 4G SIM slots (one 4G slot running at a time) with dual standby. It also packs a strong 2500mAh Li-Po battery.
Pixel V2 priced at Rs 10,750 Lava will be competing with devices from Micromax, Xiaomi, and Motorola that fall in the same price bracket.
