Display and configuration
Coming from the affordable bolt series, the Micromax Bolt A69 raises the bar when it comes to deliver value for money. It sports a 4.5-inch, 262k colors,TFT multi-touch display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, the device is equipped with sensors like accelerometer and light sensor for an effective operation. Under the hood ticks a BCM21663 dual-core ARM Cortex A9 32-bit RISC processor clocked at 1GHz, complemented by 512MB of RAM.
Camera and storage
For photography, the Micromax Bolt A69 packs in a 5-megapixel primary fixed-focus camera with LED flash. It also carries a VGA front camera to assist you with video chatting. While the primary camera can click pictures of up to 2,560 x 1,920 pixels, the front camera can click at the maximum resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Video recording and resolution is limited up to 1,280 x 780 pixels.
The Bolt A69 comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, out of which only 2.3GB is available to users. You can use 1.5GB to store your images, files and videos, while 800MB is dedicated to applications. You can further enhance the storage up to 32GB via the microSD card slot.
Connectivity and Battery
The Micromax Bolt A69 is a dual SIM (GSM + GSM) phone which comes with regular connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB etc, but misses the GPS. An 1,800mAh battery claiming the talk time of 7 hours has been provided to fuel the device.
Micromax’s Bolt series is known for affordability. The Bolt A69, being latest addition to the series brings a well-specked device without a hefty price tag. Integration of 3G and dual camera at this price tag makes the device an apt choice for budget users. Although, Micromax Unite 2 is a very good option which is having all powers where Bolt A69 lacks.
