Rahul Gandhi, Congress vice president in an election rally in Bihar’s Sheikhpura, about 120 km from Patna attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi with his words. He said that Modi is visiting the foreign countries and is more bothering about presentations than the difficulty of farmers or poor in India.
He said in the meeting that “When Modiji goes to America, you will see him changing clothes 16 times. He will wear one suit, then another, then yellow clothes, then green, then blue, then pink… Have you ever seen Nitishji in any other colour than white?”
He also talked about the pictures of Narendra Modi in his foreign tour. Rahul told that the business matters became important to him rather than the suicides of the farmer. “In the pictures, you will be able to see many people from America – someone from Facebook, someone from Instagram, someone from Google or someone from Youtube. But the Indian farmer or the Indian worker or the Indian poor, you will never be able to see them in those pictures,” he added.
Rahul was campaigning for what has come to be called the ‘Grand Alliance’ or ‘Maha Gath Bandhan’, which includes Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s JD (U) and Lalu Prasad’s RJD.
Also Rahul said that “When Modiji became Prime Minister, I called it a ‘suit-boot sarkar’. After that, he never wore a suit.”
