Display and Design
The Nokia Lumia 630 is a midrange smartphone with a 4.5-inch 16M colour ClearBlack display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. This new phone is designed similar to other Nokia Lumia phones with curved edges and polycarbonate body, and comes in a range of colours – bright orange, bright green, bright yellow, white and black. It comes in matte finish and carries chageable rear panels so that you can change colours according to your mood.
OS and Configuration
The Lumia 630 will operate on the latest Windows Phone v8.1 OS. It is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor which is supported by 512MB of RAM for smart performance. It also carries Adreno 305 graphics processor for game support and good visual experience.
Camera and Memory
The Lumia 630 comes with a 5MP primary camera with features like geo tagging, panorama etc, and misses the front camera. It is packed with 8GB of internal storage memory which is expandable upto 32GB via the microSD card slot.
Connection and other options
For connection and networking with other devices, the Nokia phone has many options like 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, DLNA, micro USB port, EDGE, Bluetooth 4.0 etc. It is loaded with A-GPS and a range of Nokia branded apps to make the device an efficient companion.
The Nokia Lumia 630 enters the market as a competitor to mid-range Android devices and carries some good ammos to stand in the ground. High quality display (although non HD), along with an updated OS and efficient camera gives you great bang for bucks. On the downside, a front camera misses in the action, making it unsuitable for video calling. A great choice for people looking out of the Android arena for their next smartphone.
