Teenage Girl Killed By Parents: A teenage girl have been killed by mixing poison in her food by their parents for running away with a Dalit boy in Karnataka.
In a shocking incident the parents have killed their teenage daughter who eloped with a Dalit boy in Karnataka.
According to the sources a 16 year old girl has been killed by her parents who mixed poison in her food for running away with a Dalit youth.
The parents were identified as Govindaraju and Jayalakshmamma who lives in Ramanagara district of Karnataka.
The parents were arrested by the police and recovered the body of the girl and sent the body for post mortem. Also the Dalit youth Manjunath (21) was also detained as the girl was a minor.
It was learnt that the girl was staying for some months at her relative’s house at Sunkadakatte in Bengaluru. Manjunath, was a neighbour to them who works as a painter.
Upon knowing about the relationship the relatives sent the girl back to K.G. Hosahalli. On September 6, Manjunath went to Ramanagaram and met the girl near Sri Revana Siddeshwara Hills and took her to Hubballi.
The parents of the girl filed a complaint against Manjunath alleging that he kidnapped their daughter.
The police launched a search and caught the couple at Hubbali and brought them back to Ramanagaram.
The police officials said that they decided to send the girl to Govt home for girls but her parents denied and took her back to home by completing certain procedures and giving a protection bond but they killed her.
The parents after killing the girl approached the police saying that the girl has committed suicide but soon they confesses the crime after intense questioning by police.
