Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh on September 18.
It is learnt that the Prime Minister will travel some distance by road in Varanasi during his return from temple city after his visit on Friday.
Varanasi District Magistrate, Raj Mani Yadav said that they have received the detailed schedule of PM’s visit on September 18 in which it was detailed Narendra Modi will reach Varanasi at 10:50 AM on Friday and return to Delhi at 7:40 PM.
PM will visit 39 Gorkha Training Cente (GTC) by a Helicopter and helipad is arranged in Cantonment area and then he will go to attend various programs like distributing tricycles and other items to needy people at the multipurpose grounds here in the cantonment area.
PM Modi is also scheduled to inaugurate Banaras Hindu University’s much awaited trauma centre through remote control from the DLW grounds at which he will also inaugurate Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) and also lay foundation stone for a ring road project.
A project for four-laning of a road is also scheduled to be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will also address a public meeting from the same ground.
Narendra Modi had cancelled his visit to Varanasi which had been scheduled on July 16 earlier after a labourer was electrocuted while decorating the stage at the DLW grounds.
The trip of BJP president Amit Shah, who was scheduled to undertake tomorrow has now been cancelled citing an emergency meeting convened in New Delhi regarding Bihar elections.
Meanwhile the district administration is is very busy to spruce up the pot-holed roads ahead of visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
