PM Modi To Visit Uttarakhand, Chandigarh Today: prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Uttarakhand and Chandigarh today to attend multiple political meetings and to inaugurate various development programmes.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh and Uttarakhand today for addressing two political meetings.
Prime Minister is also going to inaugurate the new terminal of Chandigarh airport. due to the visit of Narendra Modi the schools in Chandigarh remain closed today and the govt have deployed nearly 6000 police personnel to keep vigil in Mohali and Chandigarh in the premises of Airport.
Besides inauguration of AAirport terminal Modi will address a gathering at Sarsawa near Saharanpur in western Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile Narendra Modi posted a tweet in his twiiter on Thursday “Will visit Chandigarh tomorrow, where I will inaugurate a housing scheme, new civil air terminal & attend convocation at PGIMER.” I will visit Swami Dayanand Saraswati Ashram in Rishikesh.”
After the inauguration of Airport terminal PM Modi will move to Rishikesh in Uttarakhand in order to address one more political meeting . Narendra Modi will also visit Swami Dayanand Saraswati Ashram and spend some time with Swami Dayanand Giri who is sick.
Meanwhile, the opposition Congress accused BJP saying that the airport inauguration as a conspiracy.
Former union minister Pawan Bansal alleged that the International airport that is going to be inaugurated by the prime minister has no international flights.
He also alleged BJP saying “The political rally has been given the name of a public function.What is more surprising is that the Prime Minister is inaugurating an airport which is not functinal.All this has been done to exploit political mileage from the rally as the party is eyeing 2017 Punjab elections.”
