Jamnabai school fest to go national next year
Cascade, the annual inter-school fest organised by the Jamnabai Narsee Alumni Association, along with the Times of India, is set to become a national-level inter-school fest in its 25th edition next year.
Until now, the event was popular among over 50 schools in the city and had a foot fall of 5,000 students. This year the event was hosted on Jul 30-31 and August 5-6. Vibgyor High emerged as overall winners.
JNS trustee Sujay Jairaj said, “We thought it fitting to culminate the silver year by in cluding the very best schools of the country . It has become such a grand event. Students, teachers, parents, and of course our alumni have all come to love it.“
Raunak Kapoor, president of the association said, “Our teams over the years have seen JNS alum take time outside of assignments and work hours to still spend a few hours each day to do an event for school. There’s no money or marks to be made here, just a feeling of belonging to their alma-mater.
Cascade 25 is set to take place in August 2017.
