Apart from Malayalam films, the South Indian State of Kerala has become a good market for other language films as well. Many Hindi and Tamil films have grossed record collections from Kerala, making it a viable market for the Indian entertainment industry.
The much-awaited, superstar Vijay starrer “Puli”, which was released in nearly 200 screens in Kerala, collected around Rs 3.87 crore within four days.
