Qualcomm company which markets Semiconductors and telecommunication products. Now it launched new processors for mid range of smartphones Snapdragon 430 and Snapdragon 617 which is upgraded with multimedia and connectivity features. This Snapdragon 617 is expected to release by the end of 2015 and snapdragon 430 is expected to release in the second quarter of 2016.
Both Snapdragon 430 and Snapdragon 617 uses ARM’s Cortex A53 processor in an octa-core configuration and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology. For the first time, it is being implemented with a new algorithm developed by the Intelligent Negotiation for Optimum Voltage (INOV) which will be useful to the user in managing his smartphone battery easily.
This quick charge feature will boost your battery from 0 to 80 percent just in 35 minutes while comparing with the normal mobiles which consumes one hour.
Snapdragon 430 features:
Snapdragon 430 is featured with the new generation of 4G–X6 LTE with Cat 6 download speeds of up to 150Mbps and Cat 5 upload speeds of up to 75Mbps. Also, it is added with Adreno 505 GPU like Open GL 3.1, Android Extension Pack and OpenCL 2.0 to mid-range smartphones. It also supports dual camera configurations which are geared up to 21MP Sensors.

Snapdragon 617 features:
Snapdragon 617 is integrated with X8 LTE modem which supports Cat 7 ranged download speed of 300Mbps and upload speed up to 100Mbps. It can manage dual ISP and camera architecture of Snapdragon 620 and 618.
