The proposal submitted by the bankers in the empowered committee meeting on Friday regarding the construction of transport corridor in 47-km Ring Road project will be finalised on October 17.
After meeting the companies on October 5 in New Delhi, the bankers submitted two proposals, which will be finalised by the state government on the given date.
An official said that the bankers have proposed to allow Spanish infrastructure company Sanjose, which is one of the partners in the joint venture, to construct the entire corridor. In the second proposal, both the companies Sanjose-Supreme construct the corridor on 50:50 partnership basis.
“UDH minister Rajpal Singh Shekhawat had directed the bankers to submit the proposal by October 15, after consulting both the firms. In case, the bankers fail to submit the proposal even this time, the state government would be free to blacklist the firm and appoint new firm without consulting the bankers,“ the official said.
