Odisha rolls out scheme to ensure houses for all
The Odisha government will provide land free of cost for low-cost housing projects, chief minister Naveen Patnaik said here on Sunday.
Speaking after launching ‘Abaas,’ the Odisha Urban Housing Mission, Naveen said the move aimed at making houses affordable to economically weaker sections (EWS), low income groups (LIG) and slum dwellers.
Abaas would be the nodal agency to implement the ‘Policy for Housing for All in Urban areas,’ notified by the government in August.
