Samsung Galaxy Active Neo: Samsung has come up with one more smartphone – the Galaxy Active Neo, which is an addition to its Galaxy range of devices.The Samsung Galaxy Active Neo has been launched in Japan via NTT Docomo for Japanese Yen 20,000 which goes to around Rs 10,900.The launch date of the device in India is not yet revealed. However, it is expected that the device will be launched in the international markets soon.
The impressive thing about the smartphone is that the device comes with IP68 certifications. This is a rugged device which means users will be able to use it for rough outdoor purposes.The Galaxy Active Neo is water resistant and can function even under 1.5 metres of water for up to 30 mins.
The Samsung Galaxy Active Neo features 4.5-inch WVGA display with an 800 x 480 pixel display. The mobile phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with Adreno 306 GPU coupled with 2GB of RAM. The device also includes an internal storage of 16GB which is further expandable via a microSD card slot.
The smartphone is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop. Coming to the camera of the device, it boasts of having an 8MP rear camera along with a 2MP front-facing camera. It is backed by a 22oo mAh battery. The device also supports 4G LTE bands with a single nano SIM configuration.
The smartphone boasts of having the MIL-STD-810G certification. With this, the device becomes sale, sea-water, dust, humidity, rain, vibration, solar radiation, transport and thermal-shock resistant.
