Four Suspected Islamic State Sympathizers Detained In Kerala: Four suspected Islamic sympathizers have been detained by NIA today morning from Kerala.
Four Indians in Kerala suspected to be Islamic state sympathizers who were deported by the United Arab Emirates government for allegedly have been detained by the National Investigation Agency today morning.
According to the sources two people from Thiruvananthapuram airport and two from Karipur airport have been detained at 3:30 am today.
The people who were detained from the Thiruvananthapurem airport were identified as Anas hailing from Pulimath and Karthik of Adoor in Pathanamthitta.
The National Investigation agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), state police intelligence were questioning them.
An Indian woman has been arrested in Hyderabad last week for allegedly involved in recruiting people for the dreaded Islamic State terror outfit and she was also deported by UAE.
The woman is identified as Afsha Jabeen alias ‘Nicky Joseph’ of 37 years and hails from Hyderabad deported along with husband and children but she had been portraying herself as a British national while luring youth for IS through social media.
The woman was caught in Abu Dhabi and after initial interrogation she was sent to Hyderabad and the Hyderabad police took her into custody at Rajiv Gandhi International airport.
She was arrested by the police and a case has been registered against her. Afsha Jabeen during the interrogation confessed that she has created a Facebook group from where she has lured youth for joining IS.
Afsha was a graduated in 1999 from Shadan college of Tolichowki in Hyderabad and she got married to Devendra Kumar Bhatra Alias Mohammed Mustafa who was a Dubai based realtor from Himayatnagar in August 2002.
Afsha after watching the speeches of Islamic scholars Zakir Nayak and Bilal Philips, she became a fan of them.
