While launching Lumia 950 XL, Lumia 950, and Lumia 550 launches, Microsoft also announced the Surface Pro 4. The company also unveiled the Surface Book, its first laptop.Successor to the wide successful Surface Pro 3, new Surface Pro 4 is the 4th-generation of Microsoft own tablet lineup. The range starts at $899, and from October 7 the pre-order starts and the shipping begin from October 26.
Surface pro 4 comes with a 12.3-inch display, and the size of the tablet is not larger than the Surface Pro 3 as the Microsoft has reduced the bezels. It is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 that the Microsoft noted is only 0.4mm thick. It comes with a new stylus too. The Redmond giant is calling it Surface Pen that comes with an eraser. It has 1,024 points of pressure.
When user clicks the tip of the pen and the Surface Pro 4 opens Microsoft OneNote. Similar to the every device we have seen today, it also comes with Cortana integration.
The new device also comes with Intel’s 6th-generation Skylake SoC coupled with Microsoft own built G5 chip.
The Redmond giant says that it is 30 percent faster than the Surface Pro 3, even fifty percent faster than Apple’s MacBook Air. It is loaded with up to 16GB of RAM.
It comes with an Ethernet port, four USB 3.0 ports, and a fingerprint scanner. Surface Pro comes with two 4K displayPort.
With Surface 4 pro, a new Type Cover as well, that comes with a more spacious keys on the keyboard. It also comes with a glass trackpad that is forty percent larger than its counterpart on the Surface Pro 3.
