Telangana CM KCR Visit China: The Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao left to china yesterday for a 10 day visit to attend meeting of WEF.
As an attempt to attract investments from China, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has left on a ten day visit from Raiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad to China yesterday.
He has met with the officials of various departments and also ministerial collegues before his departure.
Along with KCR some cabinet colleagues, presiding officers of state legislature, his political aides and senior officials left by a private executive jet to China.
Industry Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, Energy Minister Jagdish Reddy, assembly Speaker Madhusudhana Chary, council chairman Swamy Goud, Rajya Sabha member K. Keshava Rao, legislators K. Eshwar and G. Balaraju, state’s representative in Delhi Venugopala Chary, chief minister’s political secretary S. Subhash Reddy, senior officials in CMO and other industrialists were in delegation.
The chief minister have been invited by Switzerland-based World Economic Forum for its meeting of ‘new champions’ to be held at Dalian from September 9-11. The CM is scheduled to address the meeting on ”emerging markets at crossroads”.
The delegation will visit Shanghai and visit New Development Bank and interact with Chinese industrialists after WEF meeting.
On September 11 KCR will visit Beijing and will attend a dinner to be hosted by India’s ambassador in China. And he will meet representatives of China Railway Corporation and some top companies the next day.
KCR will visit Great Wall of China on September 13 and will meet industrialists at Shenzhen Hitech Park the same day.
On September 15, the chief minister will reach Hong Kong and have lunch-on meeting with industrialists. He will also visit International Commerce Centre and Sky 100 observation deck.
On September 16 the delegation will return to Hyderabad by the special aircraft.
