14,000 two-wheeler traffic violators to lose driving license
As many as 14,000 two-wheeler riders in the state will lose their Driving Licenses (DL) for various traffic-related offences.
The transport department has instructed the Bengaluru Traffic Police to cancel licenses of about 14,280 people who had committed at least three traffic-related offences in the past eight months. These offences range from jumping traffic signals, riding on pedestrian paths, cutting lanes, riding on the wrong way, riding without helmets and speeding away when flagged down by the police.
