Use your eyeprint to unlock
The ZTE Grand S3 flaunts a 5.5-inch IPS full HD five-point multi-touch display which leaves you mesmerized with its clarity. It boots Android v4.4 KitKat OS and is driven by a 2.5GHz Krait 400 quad-core processor sitting on Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 401 chipset. It is aided by 3GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU thereby ensuring uncompromising performance.
The ZTE Grand S3 shows off a 16MP camera at the back besides an 8MP front facing snapper. The main camera supports dual LED flash, autofocus, HDR, panorama and can record 4K videos while the one at the front can shoot 1,080p videos. The front camera also acts as a biometric sensor that uses your eyeprint to unlock your device. Created by EyeVerify, this technology can also be used for secured mobile payments.
It has an internal memory of 16GB expandable up to 64GB. The ZTE Grand S3 packs a 3,100mAh Li-ion battery and can be connected via 4G (specific markets), 3G, Wi-Fi ac 5GHz, Mobile hotspot, USB port, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and GLONASS.
The ZTE Grand S3 is clearly a step forward in the world of technology courtesy its first of its kind biometric ID sensor that uses you eyeprint to unlock the device and make secure transactions. However, the lack of LED flash with front camera makes this feature unavailable in the dark.
